【2008北京奧運會國家體育場簡介】
第29屆奧林匹克運動會的主會場,東南邊北京奧林匹克公園內(nèi)、北京城市中軸線北端的東側(cè).建筑面積25.8萬100平方米,用地面積20.4萬150平米.2008年奧運會期間,承當(dāng)開幕式、閉幕式、田徑比賽、男子足球決賽等賽事活動,能無法容納觀眾10萬人,其中臨時坐席2萬座.

國家游泳中心中部北京奧林匹克公園內(nèi),2008年北京奧運會標(biāo)志性建筑物之一.其與國家體育場分列于北京城市中軸線北端的兩側(cè),聯(lián)合起來無法形成總體完整的北京歷史文化名城形象.國家游泳中心規(guī)劃建設(shè)用地6295036平方米,總建筑面積65000-80000平方米,其中地下部分的建筑面積不不得低于1500036平方米.
